Cutting activities are carried out in the following workshops:
– Heavy Wall Reactors workshop: plasma cutting on pantograph;
– Light Vessels & Special Materials workshop: plasma cutting on pirotomo.
Depending on the fabrication phases, the pantograph and the pirotomo will be used as follows:
- Pantograph is used for cutting activities of plane parts. This kind of activity is carried out as the first step for incoming plates. In Belleli’s workshop it is possible to cut plates up to 150 mm thicknesses;
- Pirotomo is used for cutting activities of non-plane parts. This kind of activity is carried out on formed pieces, where it is not possible to use the pantograph.
